Yes there is. I won't begint o tell you the things I would eat when I went through this let's just say for lack of a better term disgusting concoctions.

Through my Doctor's tests and such we discovered that it was a medication I was taking that was making me get up Starving and therefore I would eat anything in sight. I had gained about 15 pounds before we figured it out. Either way you should see your Doctor about it because it can cause you to be tired all the time as you may have no idea what you have consumed the night before. I once melted butter, poured it over chex mix, added milk and ate away. I am lactose intoleratn so you can imagine the fun I had the next day. Gross!

Good Luck!

Yes there is.... I used to do it often in my mid thirties. Didn't understand it but I seemed to have moved on and stopped before I was forty. There is such a thing as sleep eating.

Actually, there is. It is called Nocturnal Eating Syndrome. It's pretty rare, with 1-3% of the population being affected and is more common in young women.

Bingo!!! Now I know why I can't lose weight. If this is a true condition I think I have a cure. Set up some tripwires going to your kitchen, that should wake you up.
