I would do a slide show of my sample pieces and put it on CD so the client can pop it in their PC and take a look. Color and clarity shold be good.

Plus it is cheap, changable to fit the mood of the client.

Use as a business card to some major clients...

Ask previous clients if you can use some of their work to start... throw in a great peice form school also if you have it.

The first picture in the show and the last would be a portait of myself with contact inormation as a sig.

As a matter of fact other than on the web, that is how I do my portfolio.... people are tired of books... use the technology...

There are many kinds of portfolios out there - however there are only 2 differences:

One is print and the other is digital.

The printed includes portfolio boxes, scrapbooks, photo-insert, loose leaf, etc.

The digital includes websites, DVDs, CDs, thumb drives, email, etc.

when i did my portfolio i just bought a really nice scrapbook type book and in a way made a scrapbook it looks really nice
