The Question is "WHY the double standard?"
Black "Urban's" can call whites crackers, honkies, whiteys, and other black jibe and that's considered "OK"...but if a white person calls a black a ni*ger(a word used everyday to refer to themselves, and derived from the word *****-meaning BLACK!) all hell breaks loose.
Why is it that if a black person decides they don't want to live off the system, get and education, and succeed in life, blacks refer to them as Uncle Toms, Not black enough or Whitey pretending to black...e.g. Oprah, Tiger Woods, Condi Rice, etc.
Oh has anyone heard rev. Jackson and his Black Panther buddies apologize for their racial ridicule and immediate conclusion for guilt of the Duke Lacrosse players?...No (and I don't think we ever will!). Is he still going to give the woman a scholarship for fabricating a rape?...probably.
I've had a great deal of black friends all my life, most of my best friends have so happened to be black, but they were well spoken, intelligent, and didn't call each other ni*gers and dog all day long. Defiantly not the gangster morons that are infesting America, and the African-American population.
If I were black, I would feel ashamed to even be associated with the rapping degenerates, using Ebonics living, off of welfare while selling drug and drinking 40's.
Its a fact, blacks are the most racist people on earth, the most violent and destructive, and the only race that doesn't have a culture; all the predominantly black nations are still in the stone age...now tell me why? How can it all be the "White People's" fault? And why is it that the "urban" blacks all hate America, and want to exterminate all whites? If they hate Americans so much, why don't they move to Africa and give up their US citizenship? Oh wait, then they couldn't get their welfare checks!
Why are white children brought up to be color-blind when it comes to race, and be taught that they deserve ridiculed for being white? I don't understand it! I am not a racist person at all, and I don't care what color you are! White, Black, Blue, Green, or Yellow, if you are a degenerate scumbag living off of the system you ARE a Ni*ger!

because black people have ownership about that word. an example is that when women call eat other b!tches, it's tolerated. but if a man calls a women that...wow...what a jerk. it's a word about women, so women have ownership of that word. same as "queer." it used to be a negative term, but the gay community decided to take it back, use it, show they were comfortable using it, and thereby taking away negative conotations. i believe that was what the african american community was trying to do...but it just didn't work out very well. bottom line, if you aren't black, don't use it. and if you are black...i guess it's your choice, but many people are still devided on that issue.

I don't believe that anyone should be using derogatory terms against each other. We would be so blessed to have grown beyond all this derogatory and insulting verbage.
