Yes, you can get white tattoos...don't know why others are having probs but it must be the people they use.
I can't tell you what it contains, my guy is closed right now...ask your artist or look around. RESEARCH. My guy has been doing this for over 20 years, the Illustrated Man of Kansas City.
I have a foot long tattoo on my left thigh of a pin up girl in a WHITE Red Cross outfit. She looks beautiful. The white has to go a little deeper than the other colors but it was no different for me than my others and I have 10 total. I am also a pale skinned girl and it shows up really well. She is my avatar now...take a look...

You can get a white tattoo, but they fade very quickly and it's hard to find someone to do a white tat for that reason.

yes tehre are white ink tattoo. i want one think they look aazing. theproblem is most artists wont use white ink since it is really only meant for highlighting and it is hard to see where it is put down, so it takes multiple sessions to get it to look nice. but they can yello over time or fade.... i asked this question a few months ago and some tattoo artist on here said a pale violet would be a nice alternative. of a pale color in general or a few sahdes darker than your skin tone,.

I have a tattoo on the top of my foot that contains white flowers. I'm going for a touch up soon. The white ink held up very nicely on the top of my foot. But the white on the side of my foot is what really needs to be touched up. The tattoo artist who did mine told me that she would definitely see me again when it totally heals.

You can get a white tattoo. Jack Osbourne has one(Ozzy's son). Unfortunately, manufacturers of inks and pigments are not required to reveal the contents.

Have you seen The Matrix? The girl had a white rabbit tattooed on her. So I do believe it is possible. You should contact your local tattoo shop to confirm.

There are white tattooos but they fade very fast and its kinda hard to find an artist who will give you one. I tried to find one and everyone I talked to tried to convince me to get my tattoo using a 'negative space' (where they tatto around what you want instead of inside) technique instead. So I gave up.
