Persecution of religious groups

I was dealing specifically with this subject when someone complained about it. Some people not only want to persecute religious groups, they want to avoid any just consequences by squelching any just response. NOW do you see?

I'm sorry to say the only way I can be specific is to un-violate the violation against religious groups (as per this specific instance), such that the question is reposted. Any explanation here would be exactly the same as posting the question again.

PS. I KNOW who the complainer is. Many times I have correctly predicted the behaviour of people by understanding their particular psychology. It is particularly easy when dealing with bigots. On occasion, I have engineered the behaviour of others, and there is no better example then THIS INSTANCE.

Please! Complain! I would love responders to reaffirm their prejudice, making it obvious to all users.

I explained this very clearly in my last question. Bigots will never change. You already shut out the truth. Why would I bother to answer your question AGAIN!

Answer to illyria6167:

You people keep asking for answers, then you report them as violations when I answer truthfully.

Persecution is not mere criticism. Leave it to a bigot to complain about the calluses that form on his hands while he beats someone with a tire iron.

We do not treat anyone differently from ourselves. The point is that we are all the same. No one is better than anyone else; therefore, no one gets an express ticket to heaven. The method by which we reach that destination is the same fore every one of us. Hell is separation from God. If that’s what you get it’s what you have asked for. The description in the Bible is metaphorical. If you are truly educated about religion you would know that. Why would you complain to someone going the opposite direction on a road when he tells you that there is a flood back there, and the bridge has been washed away?

I don't understand how many religious people can be upset by prejudice from critical sources. Many religions declare, vocally, that people who do not follow their chosen faith will burn in hell for eternity or suffer some similiar form of infinite torture. Many religious people call other religious people and non-religious people heathens, infidels, Satanists, sinners, witches, and a host of other prejudice terms.

Too many religious people believe that criticism of others is their exclusive right, and theirs alone. I believe that a religion should be afforded the same amount of consideration as any secular belief. This is about respect. If religious advocates do not feel it necessary to respect other religions, let alone secular belief systems, then how can they demand, or expect, respect from others? Casting all people who do not conform to a religious ideal as sinners, or ignorant, is disrespectful, prejudice, and will only beget disrespect in return.

Besides this, the term prejudice implies that a religions dissenters discriminate without knowledge of the religion. For somebody to be prejudiced against a religion they need to be ignorant of that faith. Many people who dissent against religions were raised in religious faiths and have made a conscious and informed decision to reject them.

It seems clear that you are an educated and astute person, therefore please look at the history of mankind in the wide scope of beliefs, in which you will discover that the religious groups are more often THE PERSECUTORS rather than the persecutees, to whatever degree, as you say, their particular culture/psychology gave scope to.

All I know is after a lifetime abuse and persecution by my Catholic family as well as their friends, just because I am pagan is that CATHOLIC PEOPLE DO PERSECUTE OTHER RELIGIONS. IT HAPPENED TO ME FIRST HAND. Of course the hundred of denials saying I am wrong even if I have the scars to prove it will prevail.
