If you really like doing hair and nails you should go. But I'll tell you upfront if you want your own salon, you HAVE to work all day. Long hours go hand in hand with owning a salon. If you don't want to work all day, you should consider working for someone else, like Regis or something. In your own salon you have to keep your customers happy and cater to their needs which means clients coming in late or really early because of their work schedules and stuff, if you don't they will go to someone else who will. Good luck to you! Just give all of this some thought and do a little research of your own before you sign up for cosmetology.

yes, and once you've graduated from beauty school and established a clientele from where ever you'll be working, then would be a good time to look into owning your own hair salon. Because once you have the trust of a client, they usually follow where ever you go cause it's always hard to find a good hair stylist.

I think you should take some business classes, and yes attend beauty school so you can get a license. And maybe you can meet someone in school that can open the business with you or atleast help.

i think of it can be a clever thought to circulate get a infant doll with alot of hair and start up up reducing and styling it to work out in case you're any sturdy at it. you're able to finally end up dealing with alot of dolls before everything yet once you visit someplace like Goodwill shops they're truly low-value. in case you're sturdy at it and love you would be way previous to alot of those that are at a jobs they hate. you additionally can visit a splendor salon and ask in case you're able to desire to spend the day there and watch what they gain this as to make helpful that's some thing which you're able to relish. sturdy luck to you!!

Sure, but don't forget to take some business courses at community college too to learn about running a business. If you want to own your own business, you WILL have to do it all day long till you get off the ground and make enough money to hire otheres. But that's part of owning your own business.
