Girl, I know exactly where you are coming from! When its night, and I'm alone... all those memories come back, and its hard trying to let go of what was once special to you. But day-by-day, I told myself, "I can't let this bring me down"... you have to want to let him go. But most of the time, feelings get in the way... of the right thing we need to do! Just pray on it... and things WILL change! Good Luck

I got over my ex-husband by consentrating on why I left to begin with....day and night. The nights are the hardest because that's when the day is done and your mind seems to wonder. When you think you're ready, find someone else to share your nights with, until then, do whatever it takes to put his memory out of yours. I wish you luck, but everyone has a different way of filling the void that is left and in time he will become someone you once knew.

The nights are the hardest specially if you lived with this person before the break-up. But dealing with your feelings are the best way to get over them. At night, just think of the GOOD times and NOT the negs of the break-up, the negs it will make it worse. Your night will be more pleasant with better dreams if you just focus on the GOOD! Hope this works....It did for me Good Luck! to anyone out there trying to get over a break-up!

sleep, hang out with your friends, watch movies, eat comfort food. Anything it takes. There are a million things to do at night. go bowling, roller skating. etc.
Think about what you did before you met that person and were single.
Do that.

I used to just go to bed earlier. . I'd just do what I had to for the day then go to sleep. I wouldn't leave myself anytime to miss him. It was still hard, but keeping busy actually really helped.
