was involved in a wreck , and blacked out . and was given tickets. because the driver lied and said i was driver. must i get a lawyer can't this be settled another way , and how does the guy driving get off free? what a mucked -up justice system

i was ejected from the car, on the ground when the first responder arrived, the driver was consious and attemping to flee to scene i was under the influence but not drunk or driving, and unconsious he had prior suspended lisence, and drugs on HIM it was hes car and his insurance.

Well, if it's your word against his, the police report should say who was sitting in the driver's seat. If it was you, you aren't going to get off free - you'll have to pick your friends better. And maybe stop drinking.
