Well jeffy, are you male or female. although male breast cancer is on the rise it is still somewhat uncommon. From the female perspective what is important is change. Have these lumps ever been there before, or are they totally new. It may just be the first time you've noticed them. You also need to know at what point in your cycle you are at when monitoring things like lumps in the breasts. The lumps which may be normal will change with your cycle.
Best advice would be to get it checked out, and then in the future know what is normal for you.

You need to visit your physician as soon as possible. They will do a biopsy of the lumps. They will also see if there is fluid in them and determine whether you need to have them removed to be tested further. It is usually a day surgery and they will put you to sleep.
This is a scary situation and I wish you all the best but get to the doctor ASAP. Don't be scared, be smart and don't let the lumps scare you away from the doctor because you think they might be cancerous.

Go to your GP. If they're any good, they'll refer you immediately to your local Breast Screening Unit. You'll be examined there by a Consultant, and might undergo an ultrasound of the breast, or maybe a mammogram. If the GP won't refer you, make a stand. They HAVE to refer you. You don't say how old you are, but even if you're very young, there is still that very small chance that it may be cancerous.
It's best to get checked out. I went through the exact same thing last year. Please, please go to your GP. I wish you lots of luck and will keep my fingers crossed that it isn't the Big C. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

it could be just mammory glands...if the lumps are matching one in each breast its probably nothing....also if the lumps move, chances are its fine....alot of times when hormones change because of birth control pill....non-cancerous lumps can develop but go away by themselves when hormones level out...see a doctor or obgyn, just to be safe. if your under 40 and pre menopausal breast cancer is very unlikely.

for goodness sake make an appointment at your doctors. with luck all you have are cysts but if it is a malignant growth then the sooner you are operated on the better.
my wife had a breast removed 13 years ago and she is fine

Go to the doctor and let him check it. Sometimes they are just fatty tissue and harmless. You will drive yourself crazy until you find out what it is. And I know how you feel. My granddaughter had a mole removed from her back and we are still waiting for test results. It had started to bleed so off it came. She is 20. I don't know how old you re, but please, have it checked out. I have had several biopsies myself, and it is pretty scarey. Mine were in my mouth, I have something called lichen planus (liken plan us), and will have to deal with it the rest of my life. So please, instead of sitting around scared to death, go to the doctor and see what is going on. I know you are nervous, but you need to see about it. Good luck to you.
