Can someone from Amtrak tell me why so many Florida train stations are closed, and travelers must be bussed to Lakeland to pick up North bound trains?

The station in Ocala is beautiful and the trains apparently have stopped running there, as well as the Pinellas County area. I don't understand what happened.

Though I do not work for Amtrak, I am familiar with some of their practices.

Most Amtrak stations are usually closed until an hour or two before trains are scheduled to arrive and depart.

Bussing is a common practice when at train has been delayed to the point where passengers are in danger of missing a connecting train and transported to connecting terminal via bus.
