Paul, pull the cover off your fuse box,on the back is a diagram of the fuses. You will find the location of cigarette lighter there. On my Focus ZX3 it's # 14 and it's a 15amp. Good luck.

Check to see if any fuses are missing.
There is a fuse in back of the fuse box that works the power locks, though this fuse, you need a mirrow to change it. If you have power door locks, or a trunk release button and it doesn't work, then its that fuse. You may think there isn't a fuse in the back, but there is

in my fiesta its a 15amp,
look under the fuse cover, fords usually have the ampage number and a little picture for the specific fuses i.e a ciggy lighter has a pic of a cig and 15 written under it.

i was told many years ago never to buy a car with a broken cigarette lighter as these r the 1st things to go in a car after this it all down hill so maybe its not a new fuse u need but a neew car

Most cars blend the cig. lighter into the radio fuse, instrument fuse or dome light fuse.
Whatever else isn't working is most likely what the cig. lighter is attached too.
