I know that epiphany is referred to a christian sense, but you get the point. I am asking atheists, muslims, jews, hindus, agnostics, christians, buddhists, etc. What was your greatest epiphany you have personally encountered that changed your belief on/in life?

So?: Do you mean cosmic laws such as Murphy's Law? That things like such are inevtiable to happen and the consequences have always existed, but at times are not percieved by the human mind or thought becuase of another cosmic action taking place? But sometimes it can be percieved and another will take it as a great epiphany. But then doesn't that discredit the majesty of GOD. What if HE was always doing such things, but the might of mankind can pull a cover over ones eyes? Or maybe it was all due to magic space dust. Who knows? I am no celestrial mastermind, and I am more than sure you know about more about this than me(no sarcasm intended). But do you let the laws of attraction "be", or ask about the actions of a situation placed by/on ones self?

On a personally level for me. I have studied several religions. But that is what it was all about. All the legalistic things, as well as traditional ideas men set up. All of them required things that I felt were foolish. I am not going to name any religion at all. Cause It is only a personal view on my part. Religion is a set of ideas, and rules. Yes, I am a Christian. After reading up on it and studying it. Jesus gave it all so I can be free. No other religion offers that, It is all about what you do and say. Yes, Christian life has things we must be obidient with. But all those things are things that other people would want us to do to them. Respect, Love, be kind, be non-judgmental, be compassionate, helpful, honest, loyal, lovers of good. These things may seem difficult for some people, but I can guarantee most of us hope to encounter relationships and friendships that have these qualities. Christ has taught about these things, to do good unto people. To live in his example. He loved, he gave , he did. Christianity is an action. To live as Christ did, so you can change someones life and give them hope and encouragement. This is why I have chosen a Christian life, not cause it is a religion of ideas, but cause it is a moraled life, and living after principles we all admire. Most of all it is a relationship not a religion. This relationship isn't about self, but everyone is important in Gods eyes. Other religions there are "chosen" ones, but not with the Christian God. ALL are accepted, loved. That is why my ephiphany is, when I help someone else, it gives me such a great feeling inside of me, to offer them Gods love, to offer light in a dark world, I find I am blessed just simply by helping someone else smile. God bless

Having the LORD wake me up at a certain very peculiar time every morning after morning and then having that number be very prevalant in the life of the man who would be my husband. Eerie, but true and if it hadn't been so, my flesh would have caused me to walk away from him. But the Holy Spirit had His awesome way of reminding me of His love with those three numbers. Awesome.

August 8, 1980....The Christian Pastor who was counseling me said, "Jesus says you can't serve two masters. That means you may only serve one. Who are you currently serving, if you are not serving Jesus?"
Lightening bolt experience. I've never been the same.
