Hi Jenny,

I'll give you a ballpark price at the end of this, but wanted to mention the factors that will play into the price before I do:

1) Where you live - if you live in a place where it freezes in winter, more work must go into the base preparation beneath the pavers. This will mean more expense.

2) The contractor you choose. A very experienced contractor with a good reputation in general will tend to cost more than a newer, younger, hungrier company. This will also fit together with the project itself - this one you've described is pretty small, so the larger companies may not even be willing to bid on it, or if they do, you can expect the price to be extremely high (without boring you to sleep in explaining why, suffice it to say that having to bring out all of the same equipment and materials makes it harder to make money on a small project). - So, you may be stuck having to choose among smaller companies.

3) Brick pavers you choose. Though this shouldn't affect the total price of the project by more than 10-15%.

4) Access to the site. Access via skidsteer (aka Bobcat) is better than having to wheel a wheelbarrow through a narrow fence, and will subsequently cost you less.

5) Patio design. Though it sounds like the design you're after is pretty straightforward.

With all of that, if you were in my market (midwest), choosing a paver with a mid-range price, I might charge anywhere from $1,400 to $2,400.

Hope that helps.
