Maybe typing Hindi is easy, but I don't know any Hindi at all. And those characters look very difficult to read to me.
About how to promote it, I guess it is the same question many Esperantists ask. And I think the only way is creating stuff that people speaking Hindi would find useful.
For example, if I am looking for a tutorial on how to learn basic calculus, my first thought is to look for in English. But many people is not comfortable reading that in English. They would prefer reading it in their native.
