If I get a blister I will pop it and then put alcohol on it. It may sound painful but it's worth it. It dries out the infection, then apply some medicated blistex and it will disappear in 36 hours.

Health/Vitamin Shop... L-Lysine 500mg tablets... take three now, three later on today, continue taking 3 twice a day for the next 3 days and you should be able to minimize the damage...
Nature Made makes these and you can often find them at KMart/WalMart/grocery stores as well as drug and vitamin shops

It will just have to come and go as it pleases, I'm afraid. I use Abreva (although it is very expensive) I have also used that Carmex stuff, it's like a dollar a tube, and iff you catch it early, it seems to work about as good.

I know this sounds crazy, but apply nail polish to it, it will stop hurting and will protect it. Then apply your usual lipstick or gloss. I get them all the time in the winter, and this is the best option, it's from a home remedies site, can't remember name, but it's the best.Good luck

Go to WalMart and get some stuff called "Abreva" put it on immediately and it should go away!

abrevia cold sore medicine is good, it works fast and is sold over the counter at your local pharmacy or drugstore.
