I just would like one before I go on a trip to florida, in Feburary. So What is a good Camera and what's the price?

Nikon & Fuji have the best range of inexpensive cameras. Fuji Fseries is fast & responsive and is highly recommended by Dpreview.com
Check DPreview.com, cuz they even have ratings for most of the cameras.

My first digi cam was a Kodak Easyshare. Good camera but didn't last. Now have Sony Cybershot. I go for higher mega pixels cuz camera is smaller than those that have great zoom. High mega pixels allow for a wide range of cropping and enhancing. Both cameras cost under $300.

You might consider Fugifilm FinePix A500. It has 5megapixels and great on batteries. The only drawback I can see is a 3 second delay between shots. Can be had for about $110 + shipping. Try on internet Beach Camera, Adorama, B & H photo and Abe's of Maine. Can't find it on internet? Call them. I believe Best Buy sells it for $130 at store but I found it on their internet for $120 + shipping. Today Best buy has it on their internet for $116.99 + shipping.

I have a Sony DSC-500,it takes great shots,and I love it but it was about $150....

you won't regret it if you get a Nikon...and if your budget is around that...check out Nikon Coolpix L4...if it still in the market in your country...(the link's in the source thingy)
