Take benadril and hope it will stop in a few years it happens.Cortizone rubbed on it should help.

This happened to me also, but I broke out about 2 months after I got the tattoo. I went to a dermatologist and he game me some cream to put on it. It took about a year for it to go away and almost all of my red ink is gone. I do have another tattoo with red ink that did not get infected. So it might also be a certain type of ink that you are allergic to.

Sounds like you have developed and allergy to the red ink. This is not uncommon. I would go see a dermatologist but he/she will most likely suggest that you start taking an antihistmine like benadryl.

Good luck and I hope you don't itch too bad. Yikes, my tatts have a good bit of red.

, better see a doctor asap. I have heard of red tattoo ink allergies but not after so many years, usually it's when they are new
