sigh... yeah, teen age body issues.... At age 15, everyone is checking out their body, and everyone else's body, looking for signs that they're gonna be okay, and that other people might not be okay. Learn to be happy with your body. I'd much rather spend time with a size 10-12-14 (or is it 11-13 in juniors?) woman who is happy and fun to be around, than a women with a size 2 body with a size 20 head case. My statement includes intimate time (sex) as well.

First, to paraphrase the famous religious leader, "Who among us can add an inch to their height by worrying about it?" In other words, you can't do a thing about your height. At 5'5", you're well into the 80th percentile for healthy women.

Second, you need to concentrate on your body fat percentage. The BMI is a very, VERY crude tool to measuring body fat. If you are telling me that your thighs, waist (and butt and bust) are oversized due to body fat, then yeah, you need to exercise more and change your diet (not "eat less" but rather "eat differently").

Again, learn to love -- and care for -- the body that God gave you. Ignore the idiots who make fun of everyone's bodies, and learn to be happy with yourself, even if you gain 20 pounds.

**** ADDENDUM ****

The BMI doesn't work for Asians, as Asians experience health problems due to excess body fat far before the BMI suggests that they are overweight.

Second, I wonder if you just hate being "Asian".... I mean, if you were "American", you'd be taller, right? Learn to love who you are, and you'll have a wonderful life.

I'm felt kind of worried about your question, because you seem to have an idea that your waist and hips are 'big for your height' and maybe you are basing that on someone who has a totally different body frame? I imagine that you look beautiful and I hope you'll do what you need to do to keep your body healthy, without worrying too much what is big or small or short or tall. There are plenty of pros and cons for each size and shape anyway....About growing, it's possible you'll still grow, it depends on if you have had your first period I think. Even if you have, you could possibly still grow another inch or so. But a cute pair of pumps or boots can boost your height and your sense of fashion if you want to guarantee a little height tomorrow! Regardless, try to just enjoy yourself, there's no other body or personality like you.

Firstly, you can't do anything to make yourself grow taller. However, you can ensure that you don't stunt your growth by not dieting unnecessarily and making sure you get the proper nutrition.

Your waist and hips are not large, they are nice and slim. I'm shorter than you and have a larger waist and hips (27-39) and I'm not overweight or anything.

Just be happy with how you are, don't worry about your height. Even if you stay at your current height, that is still average for a female.

Take care : )

Pilates will solve all of your problems!

the good news is that you are at a very healthy ratio. 26 is not too big at all.... but if you would like to tone up, start pilates. You can either take a class or buy a home DVD. Pilates will help you shape your hips, thighs, and chest and when you improve the muscle in these areas, the spine is straigter, and you will appear slightly taller.

Otherwise, no, there is not way for you to grow taller! sorry

Yes, calories make you taller - but only if you are still at an age that is growing!!!! If you're 15 you are either done growing or very close... adding extra calories will not help! This only pertains to young children!!!!!

You cant MAKE your self grow taller. You will probably still grow at 15 though. Also with your hips and waist.... You are still losing baby fat so they will also shrink but if you want to give it a boost. Work out and lose some weight and your hips will go down a little. If your hips are just wide set there isn't much you can do. Genetics suck sometimes. You dont sound big though.
