First off you should be using a heat protection spray before you straighten that will help keep it straight as well as protect it.
You can also use a hair serum after straightening that will stop frizz and keep it straight.
Another reason for hair not staying straight is climate.
If you live in a wet/humid climate you are going to have real problems keeping it straight
Heat protection spray is esssentIAL THOUGH

That's why it's not holding. Try Redken Hot sets. It has the holding power of a hair spray without the stiffness and it protects the hair from the heat of the straightener. Also it could be the type of straightener. I know that ceramic straighteners don't work as well in my hair. Pantene has a rep for putting plastic into their conditioner to make it "look" shiney. So it could be that also.

i might propose which you end attempting to straighten it. =P in case you ought to spend that plenty time straightening it and then it in basic terms is going wavy lower back, attempt a clean coiffure! there is not any longer something incorrect with wavy hair! With a ideal cut back wavy hair can look large and you will no longer ought to do plenty to maintain it. yet it is coming from a woman that hates messing with hair too plenty and takes approximately 2 minutes doing it, if that. *laughs* once you're extremely set on having promptly hair nevertheless the only component i will think of of staggering now's getting it completely straightened, yet i think of it purely lasts like 9 months and that's notably high priced. :/ How plenty it expenses i can't remember.

here's 1 reason why it could get wavy... humidity for one any damp or wetness in the air can make it frizzy and return your waves. pantene has a smooth and sleek line of products that are good for straighting your hair. it could also be your straightening iron. i use one with adjustable temps so i don't damage my hair some are to hot and might burn your hair as to others that just don't do anything but cost money. hope this helps.

Pantene could be your problem Their shampoos and condintioners leave residue which could coat your hair and not let the heat from the straigntener go al the way through.
Also straighten your hair in layers from bottom to top all the way around your head. I like to spray each layer with a hair spray so that it stays.

Hi it could be a whole number of reasons, you hair straigteners may no be hot enought to straigten and hold it sraitght for long. I used a heat protection spary to help keep my hair staraigter for longet. I use ASDAs own but Charles Worthington Stay Smooth range is good also. But at the end of they day why pay a fortue for all these hair products time and time again when you coould just save and get a pair of good hair straigteners like GHDs or Kodo. But i would suggest you always us a heat protection spary.

go to your salon and get paul mitchell super skinny. it costs between 15 and 20 dollars, or you can get a tiny bottle for a little less. also, make sure that you are turning up your straightening iron as high as it will go. i paid alot for my iron and got it at jc pennys, it was about 100, but it is the best you can buy and when you use it your hair is straight until you wash it.

just rub a dime sized amount of straightning gel in your hands and pull it through your hair with your fingers after you straighten it, that should last all day, but in the morning you might have to touch it up for like a minute
