I'm 20 now and I have been moving around alot and switching climates. That and being under stress seems to be why all the sudden after a nearly perfect complexion in Jr. High and Highschool my skin is going crazy. I wash it when I get up and then put some acne cream on it. At night I wash it again before I go to bed. I use Velocity facewash and my foundation I wear is the mousse stuff that Maybeline makes.

Stress. Stress & Stress.
Believe me the best way to get rid of acne is to exercise + good personal hygiene + drinking enough water. exercising encourages your body toxin to be forced out of your body that will eventually reduce acnes. On top of that, you must be drinking sufficient water to be able to allow this process of your body's self-detoxication. Lastly, do not forget to clean yourself throughly. I would advice you to refrain makeups as it encourages clogging of your skin spores. Adding on to that, If you are using soap that has moisturizers stop using it as it may result in having more acnes. Try using "PURE Glycerin" soap that contains no Fat usage during manufacturing. I know of some brandnames but i have no idea if it is avaliable over at your place. Eg. Pears, Simple. Try to look out for Pure Glycerin Soap as it will not encourage acne like other normal body soap or whatever showerfoam do. You can use it to wash your entire body. Face, body and all. No worries. I hope what i've provided is of some help to you. Cheers.

Hi!

Have you thought about the fact that your question has some though not all answers hidden in it.

Acne is caused by a variety of reasons:

-Pubertal Hormonal surge and its post teen complications
- Stress
-Bad or unbalanced Diet
-Low water intake
-Over exposure to sun and/or to dust and grime
- Allergies

Give yourself and the medicines/treatments you use, some time to work.
In the meanwhile try doing a few simple things
a] Try to remain calm and avoid stress
b] Drink lots of water
c] Eat a lot of fibrous veggies & Fruits like carrots, papaya, beet, spinach as they are rich source of Vitamin A { It has skin protective effect} and Phytochemical which seem to block some hormonal imbalances.
d] Try and avoid going to areas where there is a lot of dust or very harsh sunlight, but if you have to then please use a wide brimmed cap/hat and/or glares.
f] Wash your face with a mild face wash and warm water, and then with cold water.
g] And last but not the least see both your dermatologist AND your Gynaec as there could be some hormonal imbalance or they increase/decrease cyclically

For the pimples you have right now try toothpaste regular not the gel kind, put a dab of it on them before bed... You may want to invest in Proactiv it worked for me! All my friends and family use it too!! Also try maybelline pure makeup its made with H2O and is shine free. My friend recomended it to me I love it and I promise u will too! You may also want to try this Dab vasaline (dont rub) under your eyes before bed, you can put it on your lips too! This is a trick models use, do this nightly you'll never get the dark or puffy circles again.

Wash your face with WATER ONLY, HOT water daily helped me.

You can also rubb lemons on your face, the acidic juice helps dry them up.

Also, if you have a BAD case? Tetracycline can be perscribed by a DR.

Well, use face wash in shower, use cleaner pads, and put acne cream on it. If that does not work, try putting toothpast on it.

you already have a facial care regime but it doesn't seem to be working out for you. perhaps you need to go to a dermatologist who would be able to properly assess your condition and give you more effective creams that you'd be able to use.
