I think it depends on the situation. I am divorced and remarried, I met my current wife before my divorce was finalized. My divorce was amicable. My first wife and I realized that we started to grow apart instead of together. We decided to go our separate ways. All divorced men are not losers as the first answers said. I think it all depends on the reasons for the divorce. If he is getting divorced because he abused his first wife, I would say steer clear. If it is a situation similar to mine, go for it.

If I were you, I would find out why he is getting divorced and make up you mind from there.

It is o.k. to be friends with someone going through a divorce but don't try starting an intimate relationship. It is too soon.

no! It will only make matters worse. It seems okay at first, but its not okay. This is a perfect chance to make a bad choice, take my word for it, let him finish his divorce, then after the divorce date him.

As long as he can show me proof that he is in the process of the divorce I would date him.
