Earlier this year, I met a woman who I really liked. The problem was, she was still in love with her ex boyfriend.
He openly cheated on her with his ex girlfriend, and with other random women (he actually got his ex girlfriend pregnant while he was dating this girl)!
He also never took her out on dates - he just used to come to her apartment, play cards, drink beer and have sex with her.
Now she's back with this guy, even though he's still sleeping with his ex girlfriend, his other two baby mamas (he has 3 kids by 3 different women) and other random chicks.
Why would this woman want to be with a guy like that, instead of with a guy like me who is single, doesn't have any kids and actually wanted to date her?

It could be several different things. The first thing to check is the "real guy" issue. I've found a lot of girls, ladies, do this because, for some reason they think the man in question is a "real guy", he man, whatever. They don't aknowledge bad things he's done because, well, that's what real guys do. It's an image thing.
It could be money. Is he rich, or a highly paid professional? If that's the case, you may want to question how shallow this woman is, would she take money over true love?
Is he a charmer? Could be he just has a way with the ladies, he knows it and milks it for all it is worth.
It could be any of the above or any combination of the above along with other things that we may not always notice or acknowledge. Good luck in finding the real reason, but don't banish the thought of finding someone else!!

My friend women are funny they go with guys that treat them like **** in hope that they will change and be the man of there dreams, even if the right one for them is right in front of there eyes. Like they say if he cheated with you, he'll cheat on you however some girls seem to get it and some girls don’t. If she is meant for you she will realize what a stupid decision she made and leave that guy alone. But for right now my friend keep on playing the field and if she really means something to you just stay her friend that would be the best thing for her right now in her messed up life.

Some women just don't get it. They do not like themselves, and they think that is all they deserve. What you have to do is move on. You sound like a person who has a lot going on. and you deserve someone who, will appreciate someone like you. so don't sit around waiting for her to get her act together. go out and find your friend, first, them lady, of your dreams. SHE is an idiot and a glutton for punishment as well as a bunch of STD's. I'm glad you realize its just SOME women who are stuck on stupid and I know you will find that special woman that is looking for the same things you are.. G'luck

Some women are stupid that way. She has low self esteem.
It seems he has programmed her well & she will continue to go back because he has her to a point she believes only he can really ever give her what she needs.
