Social security disability is not taxable. The only way you pay taxes on SSI is if they sent you a W2 and that is mainly for retirement benefits. So to answer your question you do not file unless you have any other income that requires you to do so.

Any person living in the US has the right to file taxes. This can be like keeping in touch.
If you hope to gain a refund, I don't think you will be eligible.
Earned Income Credit is on EARNED income, and if you are on disability questions will come up.

No reason to as the SSI is not taxable. If you have other income you may have to file
