if you had to pick between the two, i'd pick diet because at least it's a fact that reducing your sugar and caloric inatke will help you lose weight. whereas all the dangers associated with diet soda are simply that, ASSOCIATIONS! there hasn't been any scientific proof that it's causing any of these things. people don't seem to understand that.

but from personal experience, i'd say that a con of diet soda is that it makes you thirsty.

Just avoid them both! If you drink regular soda you are loading your body up with sugar and all sorts of nutritionally void calories.

If you drink diet soda, you are loading your body with a lot of chemicals made in a lab - I just don't think we should be consuming things that are not found in nature. Besides, some of those said chemicals will actually tell your brain that you are hungry/or at least not full, when you actually are...

Drink carbonated water! Even if it has a little sugar, that's okay.

Both regular and diet will rot your teeth and your bones.

a can of soda has 200 or 250 sugar calories in it- you know, high frucrose corn syrup. Diet has 1 or 2 clories, sometimes none.

Also drinnking drinks in aluminum cans all the time can cause alzheimer's.

equally bad for you
1 has too much sugar and causes weight gain
the other has an artificial sweetner that causes birth defects- cancer and causes weight gain
drink water or juice

soda = lots of sugar and get fat

diet soda = contains aspertame,also found in paint thinner
