Do you have a cast? When I broke my arm I would slide a trashbag over my cast and tape it to my arm. Tuck some paper towels into the end of the cast incase a little bit of water gets past the tape.

Seriously, wrap a bag, like a plastic grocery bag on your arm and duct tape it to your arm. That is what I did and what my mom did too. And it works!
