I personally haven't watched an episode of South Park in my whole life. At a sleepover the full uncut movie was on, but like I said - it was "on" - since it was a sleepover we didn't watch a whole lot of it.
I really don't get the humour in it. I think it's mainly slapstick comedy, which I think can be funny, but.. I don't know. I just don't like it, even if I haven't seen a lot of it.

I watch South Park, The Simpsons etc to enrich and augment my knowledge as a human being. To take a lesson from South Park. Knowing is the beginning. Knowing more and learning more. the minute you start not to know more, that's when you are stop growing.
Not to become a violent person by it. Just for fun only.... Why not? Life is free. And God definitely gives us freedom with self-responsibility. As long as you know what you really believe in yourself, South Park won't change you to become the volatile person. ;)

I used to watch it before becoming a Christian but now I don't turn it on because for the most part it is a show that engages in crude humor and I personally don't find watching it edifying or entertaining like I did in my B.C. (before Christ) days.

Is there any harm in it? It all depends upon the person who is watching it. We serve a God who has given us freedom to make choices and if the Holy Spirit doesn't let someone know that it isn't in God's will for them to watch a particular show then it isn't up to another believer to judge them for their viewing habits that don't have a definite Scripture to define watching it as sinful.

The argument can be made that South Park is a show that glorifies sin but basically it falls into the category of being between each believer and God.

Romans 14:4 Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand.

At the same time a person who chooses to watch a show that some Christians might consider harmful has a duty to not encourage those people to join him or her in that activity.

Romans 14:21 It is good not to eat meat or drink wine or do anything that causes your brother to stumble. (22) The faith that you have, keep between yourself and God. Blessed is the one who has no reason to pass judgment on himself for what he approves.

Each to his own, but no I do not watch South Park.....It's not because of my beliefs, it's because I find it disgusting. I would not let a child watch this because I don't think we should add to the already harmful things that our children are exposed to in our society today.

I have never watched it. It has language that is NON-Christian and harmful to my belief in GOD. I do not suggest that any Christian watch it. Even though it is a comedy, it is not Christian-like in it's content. I hope that this is not harmful in any way to your way of thinking but we are easily swayed by what we read, see, and do. GOD expects us to be as sinless as we can be. Have a great day!

I used to do but its not on here anymore (uk). Used to watch it regular about 9 years ago when it was on every Friday night. It"s cool. Got some episodes on DVDs. I'm not a Christian though anyway.

plenty of harm from what I hear how they laugh at the Christian faith. The creator of that show will ALSO have to answer to God one day.

I don't think children should watch it, but I don't see any harm in it if your mature enough to understand the humor and don't mind the severity of it. LOL I actually enjoy it. its funny. I'm a proud christian too.
