Believe it or not Slim Fast. Eat your regular meals and then for snakes and before bedtime drink one. Also make a shake out of it.

To gain weight, you need to take in more calories than you are getting now. The only way to gain weight is to increase calorie intake or decrease physical activity level (which isn't a good idea). Write down what you're now eating with the calories, and work out how many you're getting. To gain weight, add 300-500 calories per day more than what you currently eat, so if you are now eating 2700, aim for 3000-3200, and so on.
After a while, you will hit a plateau, because carrying extra mass around burns additional calories and muscle is a very hungry tissue, which can add as much as 35 calories for each pound to your base metabolism.
Also, try splitting your food into six meals. This will ensure more lean gain, and will make the extra calories easier to manage.
Avoid "junk food" however, as a junk food binge will ruin your health. You should consume more servings from the basic food groups. Calorie dense foods from each group are:
Fruits-All dried fruit, bananas, grapes, mangoes and pineapple
Vegetables-Peas, potatoes, corn, avocado
Grains-Dense multigrain breads, bagels
Dairy-Cheese, whole milk, yoghurts
Meat &Beans-Try to stay fairly lean on meats to avoid unhealthy saturated fats. Also try nuts, eggs and oily fish
Also get a decent amount of healthy unsaturated fats.
Avoid using ice cream, pizza, doughnuts, chips, crisps and chocolate as a short cut. These foods will only add fat.
Aim for at least a gramme of protein for every pound of body weight.

Hi, My Daughter had the same problem. She is a very active person, and would complain she was too thin, We turned around and went to out local vitamin store and asked if there was anything, they advised a high calorie drink. She used that for a month and she gained 10lbs, she has stopped using it then, cause she was worried about gaining too much.. LOL.. But She still drinks it once a week, and she likes the taste she has gained a total of 17lbs, and she looks and feels great :).. GOOD LUCK

Hey , iam also thin . But i can give you an answer which makes your problem solved by a bit.

Please make sure that you eat atleast one banana a day and drink a minimum of 15 glasses of water daily. It should be a daily routine. You also need to take groundnuts in your meals atleast twice a week. You eat dates for good circulation of blood in your body so that the entire biological system in your body keeps fit and function in the apt way. Don't compromise in sleeping for 8 hours at night.
All the best.

How I gained 20 pounds of muscle in 8 weeks as a hard-gainer

In the midst of an era trying to lose weight, there is a large group of us trying to do the opposite: gain weight. People like you and I are technically known as hardgainers, people that are genetically un-gifted in terms of muscularity and have a very difficult time gaining weight. We often spend much of our lives wishing we were blessed with a bodies that could easily gain weight in the form of dense muscle mass. I should know... I've spent my life as a hardgainer... a skinny guy who wished he was bigger, a guy with quads which were only slightly larger than his calves, and biceps only marginally larger than his wrists. Allow me the next few minutes to describe to you how I managed to naturally gain and maintain over 20 pounds in 8 weeks.
