My 53 yr old boyfriend has 2 teenage sons who were 14 and 15 when this occured. They sent him pink and red balloons for valentines day which said "Love" and "I love you" and "be mine".
I have had a teenage son who is now 21, and he would never send his dad something so feminine and flakey.
No card was with the balloons when I took them off the door, and the boys who supposedly sent them did not bring them into the house. They just popped up on the door step.
I think the ex wife did it. What do you think? She is re married and does stupid crap like this. He covers up a lot for her.

Yes, it was more than likely his ex. Doubtful the boys bought their Dad those things.

If the ex-wife sent them and gave credit for it to their sons, I'm not sure I'd call it "stupid crap"; she may just be working to keep a loving relationship between him and their sons, which is a rather nice thing to do.

Why are you so concerned? Has he complained? He's still with you now, isn't he?

Actually all males don't run around acting like Conan the destroyer! Some are a bit more feminine than others. Not "gay" just more feminine. I know when someone steps outside your little "cookie cutter world" it upsets you, but get over it. Too bad you raised your kids to act like "He Man" the rest of their lives. Now they may never know who they really are. That's where the real problems start! Bummer!

Yes, I doubt it was from the boys. Maybe the ex wife is trying to start trouble between you two. Just because she is remarried doesn't mean she is "happily" married and misery loves company. Why does your boyfirned cover up for her? I would reconsider this relationship. Good luck.

I would suggest having pine cones and thin curly twigs woven into her bouquet with light and dark green foliage and the odd burnt orange gerbera. you could carry that on to the other flower arrangements. The favours could contain brown chocolate hearts for the subtle valentine theme, a chocolate fountain would be cool as well. Bridesmaids could wear burnt orange / brown sash or vice versa.

Umm If that was the boys they got some real issues, But I think you may be correct in that being the ex wife.

Either the ex-wife, or another woman!!! Maybe he tells you it is the "crazy ex" when he is trying to cover up other woman he is dating!!

It doesn't sound like a relationship that I would put too much energy and emotion into!

I've never known male children of any age, to acknowledge Valentine's Day to their father...perhaps their mother (maybe not) but not the male parent...

Not saying it doesn't happen, but it does sound rather odd.
