Just the glass part for a floor lamp that my son broke

if you can't find it in home depot or lowe's, or can't find it from the original manufacturer, why don't you try your local glass store or shop. they are able to make an assorted types of glass and mirrors and they maybe able to make one for you.

Depending on how old the floor lamp is and the model, you can probably get it from the manufacturer or company that sold you the lamp. If it is one you bought from an outdoor vendor, check for the make and manufacturer that should be on a glued tag somewhere on the lamp. If that is not available, you can go to a glass blower and have one made.

Check with your local Home Depot or Lowe's. They have a variety of replacement glass for lamps and lights. If they do not have one in stock ask them about ordering you one. Just have the name of the lamp and model with you, this can normally be found on a sticker on the bottom of the lamp.

call the local hardware store, if they don't cut glass they can give you the name of some where that does
