Search for your State's Department of Labor, every State Department has their own website now. I do my company's W2's every year.

Example, if you type: GA Department of Labor

It will bring up the main website for the department and all the contact information should be there.

They have to be postmarked by 1/31, so it may not be in your hand on that day. Give it a few days to get through the mail. If you still don't have it, call to see if maybe they tried and it got returned because of the address or something. The IRS does have a phone number to call if you don't receive a W-2 from an employer, but they will ask whether you've contacted your employer first. The link below is for what to do if you do not receive your W-2 or 1099 and has the phone number if you need it.

Come on, be reasonable. Take a chill pill! If you can pick it up, do so. Ask them to fax you a copy. There is no need to report an employer for being a little late. The IRS won't do anything yet anyway - won't even talk about it until after 2/15.

First, contact the employer.
