I like a boy in my tution.should I tallk to him?

I am a student to this class.he is a nice guy by nature.But in our class boys and girls don't talk means they stay separate but this doesn't know about each other.By his talks with his I find he likes me.He always sits behind me and even if I am late he leaves the bench empty for me.So, should I make friendship or talk to him?

If the custom is for boys and girls not to talk and you don't want to break that custom, thank him with your eyes and a modest smile. Surely your society has lots of little customs for showing the desire for friendship in many other ways besides talking if talking is not allowed!

He is showing you friendship in a non-talking way. How sweet. You can think of how to do it back and retain your modesty.

Is your society male-dominated? Then he would have led the way by speaking, OR he is treating you with highest respect by not talking to you. You could lead the way, or be a little naughty and mouth (not say or whisper) the words, "Thank you" next time he saves you a seat. Just a thought.

If you want to keep this boy's interest, you have to respond in SOME way (talk to your girlfriends like he talks to his friends about you and you found out that he likes you) and say that you like him. See what happens from there. Good luck.

Perhaps you could talk to your mom about it. and ask her how she got to know your dad? It sounds like there are both cultural issues and school discipline issues going on here. If this is the case, I would first ask myself if I want to break through those cultural barriers. If that asnswer is yes, then I would choose a setting after class or outside of school where you could speak with him where the structure isn't quite so formal. Best of luck to you.
