MIG will own the F/A-18

Depends on when they engage if the F-18's wait until the Mig's are close the mig's will be able to use their super maneuverability to their advantage. If the Hornet's engage at a distance the MIG's will be toasted by the new missiles all US fighters carry. The MIG's won't know what hit em. Even in the dog fight the F-18's have a decent chance as they will have vastly more simulator time on just such engagements where as those countries that use the MIG tend not to have good simulators if any simulators at all. SO while all pilots are veterans their experience will always be vastly different.

North Atlantic so we can assume that it is the Russian Federation who owned those MiG's. Strictly speaking, the Russians do not have enough money to fuel those gas greedy MiG-35 Foxhounds. Try looking into it in Dale Brown's Flight of the Old Dog, you can see that the MiG-35's needed an Il-35 to support it in terms of fuel. The F/A-18 on the other hand was designed for attack and we know that the Americans would have enough AWACS in the area to guide their pilots.

The Mig's attack Atlantic City because Nancy Pilosi won't pay for the missles to be installed on the Hornets. President Hillary stops whipping Barak long enough to fein concern.

'Lectric Bug on Fulcrum... Well, since you place the fight over the North Atlantic, we can assume that the Fulcrum pilots are Russian... BUT the Hornet pilots with have E-2C support. I'll give it to the Hornets.

There have be almost NO Air-to-air losses by the US Navy since Vietnam... lord knows we smoked enough Fulcrums over Iraq in 1990-91.

Russia is promoting the aircraft to various countries like Syria, Libya, Iran, Algeria, Sudan, India, Mexico, Brazil, Peru, to name a few.

The North Atlantic will have a lot of scrap aluminum.

Depends on the pilots...who has the better training, etc.

All things being equal, it'd probably come out a draw.
