I need to take a a cut-out of a person, and stick it in front of a background I downloaded off the web---how can I do that?
After I move it onto the background, I need to downsize the object to make it look good. Please give me instructions on that as well.

you drag and drop your layers from one file to the other (when both are open in photoshop)
if you want to move the background of one layer, then you have to copy it first (by dragging in it into the 'new layer' button).
To resize a layer, on your computer press Ctrl+T (Transform), you will get 8 boxes surrounding your object.
Drag and drop them on the window to resize. Will doing so, press and hold Shift to keep the constraints and rations (width/Length).

1.select all on the layer you want to move.
2. copy
3. paste into the image you want it in.
4. you should now have a new layer for the pasted image. if you don't, make a new layer and then paste into that. You can also select all and then use the resize/drag tool to drag the layer, but this might only work on macs.

you would be waiting to do it actual with the two photos open on the comparable time and the two seen on the prepare reveal. Have the layers decision open, click on the layer you desire to hold to the a number of image and then drag it to the a number of image. otherwise, you would be waiting back to a decision on the excellent image, reproduction, and then bypass to the holiday spot image and paste it there and it will seem as a 2nd layer. somewhat elementary to do. solid success.
