Ohhh, this question is so cute!!! Well, of course you can eat it dear! Eat it today, and you'll be OK. Tomorrow it would still be OK, that date is just a guidance, suggesting that if you eat it be the end of today you are definitely not risking anything at all. With every day, the risk grows, obviously. However, if the stuff starts to smell funny to you then don't eat it. But that can happen even if it was only the 15th. Trust your nose! Enjoy your meal!

I work in the food industry. The answer is definately NOT!!!! Even if it doesn't smell there can still be food poisoning bacteria present in sufficient numbers that cooking thoroughly will not get rid of them. The industry do not put use by dates on for the fun of it. They are tested as safe until the use by - but after you run a significant risk of food poisoning - especially if the meat will be eaten by someone young, old or ill.
My recommendation would be not to touch it.

No.Do not eat it.If you look at the product again you will probably see two dates. The first one is the shelf date, meaning it has got to be off the shelf or sold by that date. The second date ie to be eaten by a certain date means just that.It means up to and including the 19th in your case.

acutally it's perfectly fine, but you MUST cook it thouroughly. Expiration dates are not the actual date that it starts rotting or go bad. The expiration date is more of a warning to eat it soon. Usually the food will not go bad until 9 days after the actual expiration date. (foods such as meat, fruit, vegetables, fresh produce)
It was in the newspaper. Well i hope its good!

Yeah it'll be fine. They put an earlier date on products for the benefit of simpletons. MEAT PRODUCTS ARE USUALLY FINE IF REFRIDGERATED WELL. I would question other meats such as chicken though. The bacteria stiphhiliococcus is present and can emerge.

Yes it is safe to eat! It may not be as good but that is just a freshness date and not a warning! I wouldn't go to far past that though! A day or two is usually alright!

Smell it, if it smells okay and you've kept it sealed and refrigerated properly then it should be okay. If you are still not sure then don't eat it - at least you won't be able to regret it (gut instinct?).
Enjoy whatever you do.
