I have had the 24 hour stomach virus and am wondering when my contagious period is over?

It was probably over by the time you bacame symptomatic. It's surely over now...unless you mean the norovirus which is more like a 3-4 day bug.

as long as you have diarrhea, you better stay away from other people to avoid spreading it. just to be safe, you should wait a couple of days afterwards too just to make sure. damn stomach flu!!!
