Keep it in the family. The Brits do it. Nothing wrong with kissing a cousin.

Lots of teens go through this because our cousins are from similar backgrounds, have similarities in personality, sense of humor and what we like to do. It's OK to hang out at family gatherings together, but don't date. It's a phase and will pass as you both mature and gain confidence dealing with the outer world. If the cousin was the one who actually SAID that to you, then gently tell him this. If it's hearsay, then say nothing, to spare humiliation, and act as you would toward any of the cousins that you like - at family gatherings (maybe try to be with someone all the time if you feel uncomfortable that he might declare his feelings, but always be nice - because he's family).

You could have the gift of a wonderful lifelong adult friendship someday if you can keep this little crush under control now.

Tell your cousin you don't want to end up in a relationship that breeds children, which highly resemble the cast of the old movie DELIVERANCE!

Oh GREAT ... now I will have Dueling Banjos in my head all day! ROTFLOL

REALLY! I'm NOT kidding you! Your kids could VERY WELL look like castoffs from "The Hills Have Eyes"!!!

Anyway, unless your cousin is NOT a blood relative? I do believe it's considered the sin of Incest honey.

Even ANIMALS know better, but then you have those who TRY to breed them like that. Those people are kinda OFF I think. LOOK at what an inbred animal looks like http://media.damnfunnypictures.com/dfp/inbred_tiger_01.jpg

You don't want KIDS that look like that. DO YA?

Don't respond. If she approaches you, tell her that it isn't right to date a cousin and you hope she finds someone else that will make her happy.

It is normal, if you see each other frequently, for one of the two of you to develop a crush. So don't think badly of her.

If your cousin likes you then it is obvious what you should do tell them sorry but nothing is going to happen because youre family it doesnt matter if thier your 3rd or 4th cousin its still family and its sick of them to think of you any differently

Why does this have to be a big problem? Can't "liking" mean enjoying your company? It doesn't have to go beyond that. As for a distant future that might involve raising children, wait and see and pray about it. If there is a close genetic relationship, it might not be advisable.

first of all u have not made it clear that it is ur first cousin or second and if it is ur second cousin and if u also like her /him then u can continue or else if she is ur first cousin it is always the best to make it clear to her that what ever she/he is thinking is wrong,it always happens in teens they tend to get attracted towards their near and dear ones it always goes away,so don't panic just explain to her/him nicely i think she /he will understand

Tell her you are flattered but you don't feel the same way.

Alternatively, you could leave the country and live out the rest of your days as a fugitive herding sheep in Nepal.

Explain to your cousin a romantic relationship won't work...Family don't date family unless you are a hillbilly. If your cousin won't listen avoid him or her.
