I got bitten on my chin just before xmas and it swelled and scabbed up for 4 weeks and then came off,but I am left with an outline of this on my chin,which covers with foundation but you can see if no make up on...will it eventually go?

If you can still see the outline of where you were bitten, it is likely that a scar has already formed. It will fade with time and become less noticeable, but it just may not go away.

mabey. I got 10 stiches on my hand, I used Scar Guard. Now you can barley see the scar. It can be found in pharmacys, it is in a little bottle. It was about $30

will fade away eventually just depends on how you heal,i sometimes take a while for it to clear although i've got a few scars on me now with things i thought would never scar

It will fade away with time or it can be readily removed with lasers but it's quite costly. You can also reduce or lighten it using product with hight VitaminE or pure vitaminE oil capsule.

rub vitamin E on it at night...it helps make scars disappear
