I like Diego Sanchez for his superior jiu jitsu skill. I'm not sure if you saw Matt's fights vs. BJ Penn. BJ is a brazilian jiujitsu black belt and dominated him quite thoroughly. The only reason BJ lost his last fight to him is because he suffered a seperated rib at the end of the second round which the UFC does not make public. The reason the UFC sets up certain fights and don't give accurate information is to promote xyience which is their main sponsor. The result was two paper champs Matt Hughes and Rich Franklin. Matt Hughes wins all his fight with his ground game and has very little skill standing up. I seriously doubt he can submit Diego so I'd have to give this fight to Diego.

Actually Matt Hughes is fighting Chris Lytle at UFC 68, although Deigo vs Hughes would be a much better fight, personally I can't stand Matt Hughes but I really couldnt say one way or another who would win, they both have very similar skills, good takedowns, GnP, and limited striking, the only advantage I give to deigo is his cardio, that guy fights in the 3rd round like he does in the 1st, non-stop pressure, which is something Matt struggled with against some of his opponents.

Tough one to call, I like them both, and theyre both extreemly competetive. Matt Hughes has the strength and experiance, whilst Diego is younger and quicker. This would be a great one to watch, I like them both, but I give the advantage to Hughes, I could see his power and experience coming over, the fight going to ground and a win coming via submission.

tough one I'll take Hughes though, would be very even except Matt's cardio is much better, no offense but to whoever said Diego's is better you need to watch more of Matt's fights.

The nightmare tore through Joe Riggs, while Matt made him tap.
I give the nod to Diego.
