Are you kidding? There is a difference. Peace is very much more appealing than war. What is war good for? Killing pepole. How does that actually help make peace. Think twice before you ask that question again.

Definitely,Peace! But, it can start from ones own conscience.I can be at peace with the other if I am at peace with myself to start with. Peace with my neighbour, comes next, my society, my own religion, colleagues, seniors and sub-ordinates, other religious communities. We need to treat others the way one would like to be treated by them. Adjustments, bargaining, understanding each other point of view, accepting the other the way he /she is. En cashing the positive points of the other which help in maintaining peace and harmony e.g. sometimes a big and strong person can create fear in minds of people and prevent /help in settlement of minor disputes- it is strange but true. Intervention by the strong and powerful is badly required to maintain peace. e.g. USA in Iraq. War should be the last resort , when all other means of solving the issue get exhausted and the issue is such that it is causing loss to life and property. Remember what is written in 'GITA"

war for peace... we must do war in form of weapon, green revolution, software, biotchnology and other research to live a peaceful life.
