The airline I work for has many female captains and even more female first officers.
And I gotta say, the ladies are brilliant at it - maybe because they had to try even harder than the men to get where they did.

Only 2 times in the past several years, and I've flown literally several hundred times in that period of time. Just about every single time it is a male with a southern accent. (Probably 98% of the time... how come they never have a NY accent?)
