I don't think many people who answered this question looked at your phone number to realize it is not a United States number (unless you mistyped the number). So while donating to the organizations they mentioned is nice, it doesn't answer your question.

Since I don't know where you are from I don't know local companies to recommend, but since you are a yahoo user, you may be able to find a "Freecycle" group for your area. If there isn't one, perhaps you could start it. Here's the description of the Freecycle group in my area:

"The Coos County Freecycle (TM) Message Board is intended to provide people in and around Coos County, Oregon with the opportunity to both rid themselves of unwanted 'stuff' as well as a means for those seeking used 'stuff' to find it....

Anyone may join and post messages in regard to items they wish to get rid of, as well as those seeking specific items.

The main rule is that all items must be free!"

Frequently people in my group post needy families in their area that are in need of good, usable items.

In my area, several chariable associations come and pick up furniture. I would look in the phone book for the following:
Salvation Army
Goodwill
Womens Shelters
Kidney Foundation
Habitat for Humanity

Give them a call and they will arange pickup. Additionally, you get a tax deduction.

Good luck

The very best way is to donate it to Goodwill or a local homeless shelter.

You should give it to a homeless shelter.
