Of course, we feel pity of him / her for being so stupid and uncivilised. What do U get for doing such things ? Satisfaction ? Power ? or what ? U show to the world how much U know about the religion, in particular - ISLAM. When U ridicule the religion, all the Muslim knows U do not respect yourself, and U do not or do not want to understand ISLAM / the Muslim, as such, U do not respect other religions. U yelled " PEACE " and against terrorism, But yet, U yourself ridicule the Muslims, U provoke their feelings and dignity ? Is this what U call " PEACE "?

Okay I'm not really a Muslim, but i have myself read the Quran and the Gita (the Hindu holy book) and the Bible... What i find interesting is that they all seem to preach u the same thing... rather i know a lot about Islam and Hinduism now.. and all i can say is that these statements about Islam are absolutely rubbish... if u ever hear a terrorist talking about Islam or a verse from the Quran, You'll notice how he/she would try and interpret the thing for his.her own purpose... i feel really disturbed when People link every Muslim to terror... its absolutely Wrong.. i feel like telling everyone how wrong they are...
i only wish that people could see Islam they way it was suppose to be and not as a violent religion... i wish the terrorist could understand that their acts are not promoting Islam, Rather they are giving Islam a bad name...

I dont feel anything.
At most I just squint a little to see if I saw the question/answer right.
Because Ive received some extensive training in sharia and a lot of other religious teachings, I must say, the thing that surprises me most, is not how people ridicule my religion, they dont know it like I do, so I understand that their actions are caused by utter ignorance. And I can show a lot of tolerance for ignorant behaviour.
But I get highly surprised by the way people allow their thoughts to be controlled by outside sources like biased media conglomerates or one or two examples of bad 'muslims'.

No one likes to have their faith ridiculed, but it happens. Many hundreds of years ago it was the Christians being persecuted by the Romans. Than how many Christians have gone through that thing of being called a Jesus Freak. For me it gives me more strength. Ironically I don't blame them; look there were attacked by Islamic extremeist, but the sad thing is they blame all of us. Sometimes I feel like telling them they'd better shut up or I'll come over there on my Baghdadian carpet with my jelly mold and plop them on the head. Now we know that cannot be done. It would only cause more problems. Like they say life goes on.

Thank you for your sincerity, my sister in faith, and I hope my answer will give you some insight. I as a muslim woman feel frustrated as you state, but instead of griping about it I try to enlighten people. I back what I say with verses from the Quran put into context and try to educate people. I then pray for the individual to have their burdens eased and for them to at least be able to respect differences instead of stressing themselves out over them. Personally, though, I am secure in my knowledge and my faith then to get very worked up about it. I enjoy interacting with people and don't mind questions. I am an open book. I have nothing to hide. And people like you are a reason for it. I've had people tell me to block users becuase of a few bad experiences, but when people like you come along it makes it look very bad because you are cutting off everyone on account of a few. Good job. We should encourage understanding and respect and promote education, not all of this nonsense we see going on.

It can be frustrating at times, but it also opens doors to clear misconceptions. When someone makes fun of something based on a misconception, this gives the opportunity for the misconception to be cleared up. Some people come on these boards to learn. Unfortunately, some come just to vent their frustrations and share their hatred. Even so, if I find it too frustrating, I just leave.

In Islam Context, there is One and Only God. There is one religion which is there since Abraham which is Islam and thus Islam means submission to God and this is what Judasim, and Christinaity is all about.
And Islam does not run parallel to Christinaity and Judism, but it includes both in a very refined way.

In response to this question, I think it's horrible that the extremists or terrorists even consider themselves to be real Muslims.
In response to the atheist guy:
As a Christian, I'd say atheists should spend more time looking outside their limited view of atheism and study other opinions to understand others, and them self, better.
God bless.

Just the fact that Islam exists ridicules Christianity and Judaism. Islam says that The Bible and Torah are distorted and corrupt. They deny Jesus as The Christ and belittle His purpose on earth. But I guess that's ok and allowed.
May God Bless you.

I do not have a faith. I make up my possess ideals as I move alongside. The most effective rationale I believe it's any larger is that it is exact, and that it flawlessly suits me. So, i will say that it is the great, for me. for different folks, it traditionally would not be
