Get a solicitor. I'd rather pay him and avoid the 3 points. Sod the fines.

Dont speed in the first place!!! 30mph zone was obviously a built up area so you deserve the fine, what if a child had ran out in front of you?? Just pay it and move on, you can't beat the law!!!

I live in the US so I don't know UK law. But one way is to contest the ticket before a judge and schedule your court date on a day when the officer who wrote the ticket is off duty. Case dismissed :-)

Ask for mercy and see if there is a safe driving school that you can go to. Usually you will only have to pay a court cost, cost for the school and that is it. But they will only allow it 1 time. SLOW IT DOWN. You are not in the racing circuit. Don't act like it.

You could move to Cuba, or China.
You could die.
Or you could plead stupidity, promise never to do it again, throw yourself on the mercy of the court, and hope they convict on a lower limit.
But honestly, if you don't already have a bad driving record, just pay the damn thing, and chalk it up to experience. If you have a bad record, and this is going to get you surcharges on your licence or insurance, learn to walk!.

Take the fine and be nice about it.

This isn't quite "wiggling", but You can humbly and apologetically ask for MERCY.
