You will realise that I substituted "sins" with "wrongs". It's because I know that some Christians will eat me alive for claiming that the purpose of baptism was to cleanse Jesus of his sins. So, I don't want to offend them. But my question stands. If baptism is to cleanse a person, why was it necessary for the so-called sinless Jesus. If it was to cleanse him of wrongs, will he also stand trial on judgment day? if not, isn't that unfair?

First of all you will find in the reading that Jesus was put on this earth to have the same experiances as us. He was born unto sin, in fact he did things as a child that we do. He ran from his parents and probably picked on the girls around him, if his mother asked him did he do something, he may have said no before he received correction from his mother and father. In order to go through the same experiance and then die on the cross for the remission of our sins, he had to first come to rependance and part of that is being baptized.

You may have heard preachers say straight from the Bible, just like man, Jesus was born of this world into sin. To me that would me he was not without it, but he did become an example, and just like Jesus we can come to rependance and be baptized and if we don't we will pay for our sins. Jesus will not pay for sin because he came to rependance and he is now in heaven sitting at the right hand of the father.

Baptism is to cleansed a person from sins done in the body, But without the blood the water is of no use, & Don't try to say that Jesus was baptized for the sins he did in his body, Jesus had no sin or sins, But he was baptized that the scriptures be fulfill, & to set an example for us, John told Jesus that he was not worthy to baptize Jesus, It looks like you lose again.

In actual fact baptism does not cleanses sin.
'Cleansing' is a gift given freely. The only condition is to accept it. You can not have boldness to accept a free gift, if you do not desire for it. You can not have a desire for it untill you realise that you need it, and nothing in your capacity can earn it.
There are several kinds of baptisms that were practiced before the birth of Jesus.
Jesus went thru the baptism process to prove His tolal humanity and identity with human beings. Yet He was fully God at te same time. He took the body form just for a time being.

If you truly worship God through Jesus Christ, and you are living for Him, you will not be judged for your sins. Your sins will be gone. Washed clean by His blood. When the day of the Lord comes, Jesus will be there, and when you come before God, Jesus will say to the Father something like this: "Father, this is one of mine here. He is far from perfect, he has a few faults, but he had faith in my words, and he lived the way you wanted him to through me, and let me live through him. He will be with us in your house forever." As far as your question, Jesus did no wrong. He had John baptise Him because He knew it would please God. A symbol of His own obedience to the Father. Jesus was sinless. He was God in the flesh. He came to take sin away so that man could be reconciled to God. Make no mistake about that. Good day to you.

My understanding is that Jesus is and was perfect from the beginning. John the Baptiste baptized Jesus by water, but Jesus had/has the power to Baptiste by the holy spirit. John did not feel worthy of baptizing Jesus, but he did. Jesus is all perfect in all things. Being Baptiste by John made him appear just as normal or no better than any other person being baptisted.

No you have that wrong, the Babtism is not to cleans them, it is an outward ceremony of a commitment to Christ as a sign like his death, he was crucified and buried in a tomb for 3 days and then RESURRECTED to a new and Glorious Life and exalted to the right hand of the Father, and given all power and authority over every power and dominion, he has now the NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES! So it is when you get baptized you are saying I bury my old life with Christ and when they raise you from the water you are a new creature dedicating to live your new life in Christ Jesus! And then God blesses your life by sending his HOLY SPIRIT TO LIVE IN YOU!!! Hallelujah! And jesus was the sinnless one!

Jesus was without sin. He was baptized because, he wanted to set the example. John the Baptist, didn't want to baptize him because, he wasn't worthy. Jesus commanded him to. It wasn't a matter of him doing wrong or sinning, it was that God had a plan and that is why he needed Jesus to be baptized.

I think you are sadly misinformed. Jesus already stood trial, and was crucified, but He rose on the third day.
The Lord Jesus Christ Himself is the Judge of Corporate man. Right now, modern man is Judging God and Jesus, but the tables will soon be turned. I hope Jesus Judges as harshly, as man has Judged Him.

Water baptism as John did was and is just a symbol to show and express our commitment to God.

Now God on the other hand will baptize with fire.

Matthew 3:11-I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

When you can site these "wrongs" you are referring to?
I will answer this dear. :)
However I whole heartedly believe I will never have to answer it, since I don't believe you'll ever be able to site one wrong of Him.

Searching is good in itself, but searching for what can not be found is vanity.
