True Christians are Catholics and Orthodox. Whats your opinion?

I think this is a valid question without the point about catholics or orthodox. There are many evangelists today who I believe are antichrists. Those who try to merge politics and religion. Those who teach hatred, such as a minister I heard preach that the US should have bombed all the mosques in Iraq. Those who answer every question and cannot admit that they don't know an answer, thus piling up precept upon precept. Those who use the pulpit for personal gain. Those who prophecy events that do not happen but continue to receive donations from loyal followers. Those who know that they are right and everyone else wrong. Those who are intolerant of any other opinions but their own.

It is these kinds of attitudes that would lead, if bible prophecy is true, to the fulfilling of that prophecy. Christians' love gone cold.

Jesus started one true Christian religion. So today there must be just one body, or group, of true worshipers of Jehovah God. (John 4:23, 24; Ephesians 4:4, 5) The Bible teaches that only a few people are on the narrow road to life.—Matthew 7:13, 14.

The Bible foretold that after the death of the apostles, wrong teachings and unchristian practices would slowly come into the Christian congregation. Men would draw away believers to follow them instead of Christ. (Matthew 7:15, 21-23; Acts 20:29, 30) That is why we see so many different religions that claim to be Christian.

How can we identify true Christians?

The most outstanding mark of true Christians is that they have real love among themselves. (John 13:34, 35) They are not taught to think that they are better than people of other races or skin color. Neither are they taught to hate people from other countries. (Acts 10:34, 35) So they do not share in wars. True Christians treat one another as brothers and sisters.—1 John 4:20, 21.

Another mark of true religion is that its members have a deep respect for the Bible. They accept it as the Word of God and believe what it says. (John 17:17; 2 Timothy 3:16, 17) They treat God’s Word as being more important than human ideas or customs. (Matthew 15:1-3, 7-9) They try to live by the Bible in their everyday life. So they do not preach one thing and then practice another.—Titus 1:15, 16.

The true religion must also honor God’s name. (Matthew 6:9) Jesus made God’s name known to others. True Christians must do the same. (John 17:6, 26; Romans 10:13, 14)

True Christians must preach about God’s Kingdom. Jesus did so. He always talked about the Kingdom. (Luke 8:1) He commanded his disciples to preach this same message in all the earth. (Matthew 24:14; 28:19, 20) True Christians believe that only God’s Kingdom will bring true peace and security to this earth.—Psalm 146:3-5.

In my opinion, catholisism goes against the bible in many ways.
No where in the bible will you find that we are to pray to mary, count rosary beads, confess our sins to a priest, dip our fingers in "holy" water and make the sign of the cross, eat the round wafer god and pray for the souls of the dead, not to mention worshiping the pope. Catholisism appears on the outside to be christian but when you really delve into it's beliefs, they are against what God has said in His word. In the book of Revelation, when the great whore is spoken of, I believe this is talking about the Catholic church. During the inquisition, many priests tortured and killed "heretics" who would go along with catholicism. How christian is that? God calls this church an "abomination" and implores it's followers to "come out of her".

Antichrist will not be born of the womb or possess a human body. Satan is Antichrist and will be supernatural and able to perform miracles to deceive the whole world. “Anti” in the Greek means “instead of” or instead of Christ.

CHRIST SPEAKING
(Luke 10:18-19) And He said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. (19) Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

SATAN BOOTED OUT – DRAGON SERPENT DEVIL
(Rev.12:7-9) And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, (8) And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. (9) And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

SATAN THE SERPENT - BEGUILES
(II Cor.11:3) But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

SATAN HIMSELF – TRANSFORMED INTO AN ANGEL OF LIGHT
(II Cor.11:14-15) And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. (15) Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

SATAN CLAIMING TO BE GOD
(II Thes.2:3-4) Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; (4) Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

SATAN WILL DECEIVE THE WHOLE WORLD
(Dan.9:27) And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

CHRIST SPEAKING
(Mark 13:21-22) And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not: (22) For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

An Antichrist is anyone who deny's Jesus is the Christ.
Evangelicals do not hold man's tradition over the bible but vise verse. IE Mary sinless-bible says she needed a savior, prayer to Mary bible says one mediator to God, Jesus, Mary taken up to heaven-no where in bible, Mary queen of the universe in fact OT says there was a "god" ancient people worshiped who was called 'queen of the universe', priests not to marry-Peter was married and bible says for 'overseer' which is head of congregation to be married with at least one child, Call priest father-bible says in regard to religious teachers to call no one father, the office of pope, calling pope holy father, praying to saints-bible says the dead can't hear you, yes they are alive in heaven but they can't hear you.
All of these are not biblical and most are even forbidden in the bible.
The Christian church was in hiding around 300 ad when Constantine stopped the persecution of Christians. He never became one himself. So to say the RC or Orthodox church started Christ's church is false.
We have a member in my church that was in seminary and decided to read the bible for himself. He left the RC church.
What does this tell you?
I'd also like to say God judges the heart. So I am not tying to hurt the RC or ortho. people just their teachings.

No their point of view is ,that Mother Mary was the one who gave birth to the Lord Jesus.
So if she wont have been there how could we got our Christ , so she is the one who should be worshipped first.
It has the same thought like " if your Guru and God both are standing side by side , but you would go n worship ur Guru first, then u will worship God as because it was ur Guru who told you who God is"

Antichrist actually means god the people that interpreted it are idiots. It means god in human form born into the world. Jesus was the false prophet claiming to be someone he was not, and the antichrist will rid the world of his evil influence.

Are you the stereotyping person? Is this a joke? I'm Catholic but I am offended by this assertion.
