You mean from Yahoo?

Yahoo doesn't allow people using the free e-mail to have POP access. But there is a way around that - Ypops!

It's a tiny program that acts as a go between - a translater of sorts. It speaks HTTP (web page) to Yahoo's servers, and POP to your Outlook Express.

Can I give you a tip? Outlook Express is severely limited in what you can do - you can only filter incoming messages by who sent them.

But what if there are a few people who are talking about the same thing in some e-mails, and different things in others?

You'd like to keep the e-mails that are about the same thing in the same folder, right?

You can't set it up like that in Outlook Express...

But there is a program that is able to do this (and more) - it's called Thunderbird! And it's Free!

Most of the Outlook Express error messages are due to problems with the internet connection, not the software on your computer.

ok now what you need to do is when you open OutLook you neeed to check to see if the POP Server is connecting to any valid source go to Tools-Accounts- in the ALL tab you will see your settings click on it and select properties make sure your name and all the required fields are correct go to servers and make sure for the incoming mail server is set as POP3 and all the other required settings are correct.
