Does anyone know of any charities that will help you get a car? I am a single mom who lives out in the middle of no where, and need a car bad. I live in the state of Fl.

You guys are silly. I had a car and my husband took it when he left me and gave it back to Ford Motor Credit. I have a job and such, live by no busses and really just need a car fast. I have a part time job from home, but need to get my son to daycare so I can work full time. I can't even get to the store.

Honestly, if he turned the car in to Ford and it was not that long ago and you were on the title and note, GET YOUR BUTT BACK OVER THERE AND TAKE IT BACK. You have that right. But you better take care of it quickly. Usually 2 weeks is too long. Call the Ford dealer up and find out if they still have it. They might even be able to work something out with you about getting another one if they don't have the same one.

You need one but can't afford one? What aboit a city bus or taxi? I don't now of any charities that will just give you a car. You have to be way below the poverty line to be eligible.

Look for Salvation Army out fit. Look for Roca Beta Church in Fl.

red cross...goodwill and your local churches can help...but you'll still need insurance,gas,repair money...etc
