What happens next?

I asked before, but I only got two answers.
I like this guy and he likes me back. Everybody in our grade knows this but neither of us will admit to it. What happens next? I don't want him to forget about me! But I am too shy to do anything myself. He is my neighbor, as well and we are going to a party on sunday. Not together. We both just got invited.

He's a basketball player.
I'm a cheerleader.
He is popular.
I am a spaz...

Go get him. Maybe give a little kiss on the cheek. Give the thing a jump start.

If you want him then go get him. People can't do things for you all the time, somethings in life you just have to bite the bullet and go for it. If you know he likes you than you don't have much to lose at all.

You need to ask him in a coy way. At the party say, "I heard you like me, is it true or just a nasty rumor". Then let him reply. Ask him to dance. Get to know him at the party.

maybe you could say "what do you think about all these rumors that everyone is our grade is saying about us...?" to get his feel on the topic.

if he's your neighbor, you have total access to him. you could invite him over to play video games or something. just hang out with him.
