thats actually kind of funny to me because i have a friend whos dog loves the wether channel! it is ok, it helps soothe them so he doesnt feel alone which enables him/her to fall asleep feeling secure. in fact alot of people will leave the radio or tv one for the pets when they are away at work etc. so i say do what works for you and your animal.

It's ok. They say that that to comfort a new pup you can leave on a ticking clock or radio. TV works just as well. Also, a stuffed animal to cuddle with can help as well. They do have stuffed toys at the local pet shop that has a water bottle in it where you can put warm water to feel like a warm animal to cuddle with. Ask your local pet shop or Pet Co about it.

Also, if you put her bed near yours when you sleep, that may can help with the comfort factor as well. Sounds like she's missing her brothers and sisters and is feeling scared and lonely.

Maybe she wants to be a meteorologist when she grows up :-D Seriously though, my guess is she finds something soothing about the channel, the people talking or the regular sounds between the shows. Sure it's ok, I cant think of any harm being done to her. Our brindle Boxer likes to watch tv and bark at it.

Of course it's okay! For some reason she has found comfort in hearing that channel and it's perfectly fine to help her feel more comfy. =)
