Do you think that a person can be a true Christian, but also believe in evolution?

Can't it be that evolution is just the handiwork or God? And that the story of Genisis is an allegory?

Millions of Christians have no problem accepting evolution, and still having faith in Christ. They believe in Chrisr, His ressurection, miracles, virgin birth, etc. But they also accept the science of evolution as the mechanism in which God has created the universe.

What do you think?

Really Christian means to "follow Jesus' instructions"

Evolution is only a process. It is not condemned by the Bible. It is condemned by incorrect interpretations of the Bible.

Stick with the words of Jesus. He said nothing bad about evolution or against its process.

Yes, definately. I believe that God may have created evolution, or the big bang, or that the seven days of creation actually mean seven periods of time, like every day a million years or whatever it would be. I don't think it's worth worrying about, knowing how the world was created if you already are a christian will not get you into heaven, knowing that you love God however he created the world will.

No. Genesis states that man and each animal was created unique. Evolution claims that one type can slowly change into another type.
Genesis 1;21 makes this clear by stating " according to its kind".
It explains why species cannot crossbreed beyond the first generation. Example; A tiger and a lion can produce a 'Liger or a Tion, but that offspring is barren. Similarley, a horse and a donkey can produce a mule, also barren.
Evolution would depend on species cross breeding.

Yes. Catholic believe as long as God is the reason for the actions of evolution there is not contradictions. Now some go way overboard so Faith and Reason must prevail.

Evolution denies God. Evolution says the Bible is a lie. Evolution denies the need for Salvation. No, you cannot be a Christian and believe in Evolution. Evolution comes from science and science is just another religion.

I believe God when He says He created the world, and all that is in the world.

Having said that, what is important is not the law of creation but the saving of souls. I cannot do that, you cannot do that. God, Christ Jesus, is the only one who can save ,a, our, soul(s). He is the only One who paid the price and has conquered death. We can waste time talking about how the world got here of we can help people to understand how and where they will spend eternity. Each has a choice to make.

2 Timothy 3:16
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,

John 3:3
Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

i don't think of you could desire to have confidence interior the six literal days to be a "real believer." notwithstanding if, i think you have the two ignored an significant certainty in scripture, you're in denial or you're disregarding the inerrancy of scripture. there are one among those motives that the six days of creation might desire to be interpreted actually, which contain here: a million. the word used for "day" skill...properly...DAY, as in 24-hour day. 2. Sure, why not.

The process of evolution was probably made by God. It certainly didn't happen on it's own. Nothing does. We wouldn't have cars, homes, microwave popcorn if it wasn't for CREATIONISM. We'd still be waiting for RANDOM NATURE to make everything for us naturally!

Its quite simple to me. God created a complex and changing world. things do evolve. Its the non-faithful scientific community that believes that just because things are ever changing that it must have been a giant cosmic accident. You evolve in your faith, don't you?
